Modern companies exchange large amounts of data over the Internet every day. Including many sensitive data, which are usually transmitted unencrypted. This entails a sometimes great security risk. This will be different with the cloud service IDGARD from Uniscon. IDGARD redirects digital traffic through the so-called Sealed Cloud , an electronic, cryptographic and electromechanical sealed data center.
Here, various features are anonymized and replaced by uniform features. For example, the Sealed Cloud will create unified IP addresses and headers for all home and work users using IDGARD. The cloud solution also offers additional services: for example, documents can be stored sealed for mobile access and sensitive documents and data can be sent confidentially across company boundaries.
According to Uniscon, the cloud solution Web Privacy Service IDGARD can be used with a web browser. Alternatively, the Munich-based IT company offers free add-on software for various systems and an add-in for Microsoft Outlook.
According to the provider, IDGARD ensures that the documents remain in the sealed areas of the Sealed Cloud in Germany and avoids critical violations of applicable data protection law and compliance rules. According to the provider, the cloud service Web Privacy Service IDGARD is billed according to the number of workstations. For example, a company pays 6 to 8 euros net per month for a workstation equipped with IDGARD.
